All forms of meditation offered within MindBody Centering Yoga include support for gentle relaxation, breathing techniques to calm the mind, gentle stretching to build relaxation response capacity in the nervous system, and experiences of focussed attention so as to remain undistracted in our lives.
Some powerful effects of MindBody Centering Meditations are; relief from back pain, fewer headaches, weight loss, relief from depression, anxiety and stress. The more subtle effects are: more patience, focus, motivation and greater understanding and compassion for ourselves and others.
The MindBody Centering Meditations recording was developed by yoga therapist Nina Be (MA, M.Ed, E-RYT-500), as a response to working with thousands of clients experiencing overwhelming stress, anxiety, insomnia, imbalanced relationships with food, substances and people.
All music and reading is performed by nina be, a synthesis of soothing tones & words to calm the discomforts of the body, mind, emotions, & heart.
