Level I/II/III (open to all levels)
Inspired by the classical Hatha/Raja Yoga lineage of Sri Dharma Mittra, and the integrating practices of MindBodyCentering Yoga, this class offers a 'complete' yoga practice.
After a few minutes of Pranayama (breathing exercises) we will explore all the levels of Asana (physical postures). There are several rounds of Surya Namaskara (sun salutations). Familiar postures (such as warriors & balancing) will be offered with different optional variations so everyone can practice at their own level.
We will cover inversions, including ways to practice these powerful postures even as a novice yogi. We end class with at least 15 minutes of Deep Relaxation.
