This is an 8 week series starting on Monday, October 23 and ending on Monday, December 18. There will be no class on Monday, November 27. Class is held on Monday evenings from 7pm-9pm.
What to Expect:
The holidays are a notorious time of year to revisit your oldest, favorite self-improvement and loving kindness practices... right? It's a great time to measure how far your hard work has gotten you, stepping back off the edge of exploding at the smallest thing. So this is a brush up course, with a wonderful group of people to solidify some powerful mindfulness practices for everyday living. This gives you 8 weeks to create some good habits, some positive responses and self-love, which has to be at the root of every thought.
Yoga Therapist Nina Be will share basic practices for balancing the nervous system, relaxing mind-body-breathing techniques, and guided journaling to inspire more creative fresh approaches to patterns that can trap us into flat or negative viewpoints. All MindBody Centering techniques offered are researched and proven to have positive effects on (complex) PTSD, as well as anxiety, depression and stress response.
