Each month is a 4 week series. You can sign up per month ($99/month), or for the entire 12 week series. If you sign up for all three months, you can receive a 16% discount.

The Transforming Trauma (TT) series was created by yoga therapist nina be who is a certified mental health therapist with a specialization in somatic embodiment. Nina feels that it is critical to empower everyone to break through stigmas around mental health in order to be present for one's Self and heal discomfort in the world.

Under the MindBody Centering Yoga umbrella, in 2019 we are offering three series of TT groups. 

January 8, 15, 22,29:: Who I Am
February 4, 11, 18, 25:: How I am Free
March 4, 11, 18, 25:: What I Love

We encourage everyone to attend as many series as possible in order to most deeply benefit from the cumulative effects of focused attention.

During these weeks together we will learn well researched practices from the traditions of Thich Nhat Hanh and mind-body meditations that have proven to be most effective is transforming trauma.

This work is designed for anyone suffering from depression, stress, anxiety, insomnia, discomfort with food, relationships, job, driving. This group has proven successful with resolving indicators of Trauma, such as numbness, having trouble getting out of bed, waking up too early, not having emotions, overwhelm, feeling unseen. 

You’ll discover specific techniques that break up our negative beliefs & self talk by discussing, sharing and working with releasing aspects of the habits that keep us stuck.

Self care & discussions on practical tips for effective change help target stagnant physical and mental tendencies that block our energy and inspiration.

 

 

Each week we get stronger and clearer physically, mentally, emotionally & energetically with::

simple stretching and restorative yoga 

calming breathing

focused attention to build mental clarity 

coming into the present moment as embodiment and feeling the body

understanding the qualities of real loving kindness

discussion about how nutrition creates happiness and energy

to grow positive self talk creative writing

home practice to not lose a sense of calm.

 Nina Be is a Somatic Mental Health Counselor and master yoga teacher who is certified in a variety of curative techniques.  Guided by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, she has developed international programs for managing trauma through self-empowerment and loving kindness in vulnerable individuals and groups for the past 30 years, in corporate environments, universities, health spas and retreat centers.  MindBody Centering Yoga teacher training programs have created highly skilled trauma-sensitive yoga teachers around the globe, who guide health care professionals, corporate employees, children with special needs,  prison populations, rape crisis centers, homeless shelters and in impoverished environments.
